People’s Responsible Organization of United Dharavi(PROUD) is a Non-profit, Secular and Community based people’s organization working for the betterment of people in Dharavi since 1979.

Our Vision:

A society free from exploitation, hunger, and all impediments to development, along with socio-economic, religious, and political change for a just and equitable social order.

Our Mission:

To empower marginalized communities by fostering sustainable development, ensuring access to basic needs, promoting social justice, and advocating for systemic change, thereby building a society where every individual and community can thrive free from all kinds of exploitation and inequalities.
